Foreclosure Prevention Counseling
We offer free and confidential counseling, and counseling is available in English and Spanish.
We suggest you collect the following documents before you talk with a counselor. This will help us be as efficient as possible in finding a solution for your situation:
All mortgage loan documents.All correspondence from any mortgage company, including the last two statements.
Proof of all monthly income (last 2 pay stubs, Social Security disability, unemployment, retirement, etc).
Bank statements for the last 3 months.
A list of household expenses.
Any court documents you received about your mortgage.
Any solicitations received in the mail from companies offering to help you stay out of foreclosure.
Avoiding Scams
